Portle is a portfolio calculator for individuals. It brings the calculations used by institutions to your own holdings, from realized and unrealized gains to daily profit and loss, net change, and portfolio value. The starting point is knowing what you hold and what has changed.
A portfolio needs more than a total at the top. Portle calculates allocation, sector and value chain exposure, cash, exchange rates and currency effects, dividends, income, and projected income. It also looks at drawdowns, volatility, beta, momentum, size, value, and quality. Tax calculations account for holding periods, gain and loss offsetting, taxes on sales, and taxes when cashing out, under the rules of each country we support: the US, Korea, Canada, Japan, Australia and the UK.
The same calculations reach into the past. Echoes recalculates every historical point on the same basis as today, showing when your portfolio was in a similar position and what changed afterward. A past value alone tells you how much you had. A consistent basis for comparison lets you examine what was similar and what followed.
Your ledger lives in your Google Sheets. It stays in the app and your Drive; our server does not keep it. Capture a brokerage screen and AI reads it into proposed ledger rows, which you review and save. A separate reconciliation screen helps you find and correct discrepancies. Portle is available by subscription on the App Store and Google Play.
We do not tell you what to buy. Portle is not built around stock picks, investment advice, or a stream of market news. We calculate so you can decide. The work is to make your holdings, returns, exposure, and taxes clear enough for you to form your own judgment.
